Subject: They slightly missed the Perfume.
Perfume Show.

Pilin - Original version. I prefer High(er). The jam here is mostly Barber. Nothing memorable.

Sound 1 - Honky Tonk style. Meh.

SJSS - Dub style. The jam goes virtually nowhere.

Aquatic Ape > AC2B - This is actually really cool. Primus style. The jam here gets really dark, especially just before AC2B, which is awesome. Really cool jam overall. The techno style AC2B is really cool, and both the jams are decent, though nothing mindblowing. The 2nd peak is fantastic.

Soul is Shaking - Nothing to report.

Kitchen Mitts - Ramones Style. Ugh. This is not good.

Digital Buddha - "Early U2 style." No jam here but the version is really cool.

Caterpillar - 1st time played. Cool to hear the debut but they don't really take the song anywhere outside of the confines of Caterpillar. Barber's vocals are pretty rough in patches.

Frog Legs - Devo style. Classic.

42 - Bluegrass style. I truly cannot believe they figured out a way to make this song more irritating.

Pilin' it High(er) - Breakbeat style. So much better than the original. They open this up with an intro jam. Nothing major, but a cool little intro. The jam in Pilin' is a dark, dark, dnb jam that works nicely. It gets pretty crazy for a while which is awesome. Controlled chaos indeed.

I-Man - "Techno" I-Man. There's a really cool spooky little interlude here but they cut it super short. The intro jam is short as well. The 1st jam here has a fantastic groove and the layering from Magner/Barber is very good. Certainly, again, not mind-blowing, but very good. The 2nd jam begins very dark and almost sounds like a House Dog 2nd jam in 4/4 for a little while. It stays very dark for a few minutes

I'll give this 3 stars just because it's a cool collection of Perfume versions, and Ape, Pilin' (er), and parts of I-Man were awesome. Not enough jams for my tastes.

Fantastic! 4 star recording, and 5 plus playing!
The way this show rides is incredible, and just super-duper fun!
Check it out. I'm going to find another Perfume show.

Awesome show. Great versions. Wish I could've been there, but my buds told me there were only two tapers, so good work. I'm having problems with the end of Aquatic Ape, for some reason it's not complete (please fix for all us good kids). BiscoDiscuits Holla Peace

Subject: Sick Show Too Bad About Vocals
This show is great, it's just too bad that the recording's vocals are harsh and screechy, making for an unpleasant discordance when Barber and Brownie sing.
The show though is top tier Bisco, as the Perfume versions provide unique variations on Biscuits classics.
My personal fav is the Primus style Ape > Techno AC2B. The Buddha sounds really cool, and the Bluegrass 42 is something you'll almost never hear these guys do.
Although not quite up to par with the 5/28/03 Perfume show, this one is still really good and deserves a listen.

Notes

This show was billed as "The Perfume", an occassion for the Biscuits to cover their own songs in various styles.
